The Henry County Commissioners got an update on the control project that will make improvements to the heating, ventilation and air conditioning system at the county courthouse. Palmer Conservation reports that project will kick-off on March 10th, and should be completed one month later. The improvements should make for more even flow of heating and cooling throughout the historic structure.
The Henry County Commissioners were informed more money could be available in the Community Housing Impact and Preservation program, which makes improvements in residential housing for low and moderate income Ohioans. Dennis Miller of Maumee Valley Planning Agency reports the change could mean an additional $50,000 in funding each year.
Commissioners approved the appointment of Bruce Yancey of rural Archbold, to the Rural Transportation Citizens Committee for Henry County. And the board went into executive session to discuss personnel; but no action was taken.
