The Deshler Village Council has re-elected Jim Suber as president for 2013, in their initial meeting for the year.   Pam Abrams was elected council president pro-tem.

Meetings will remain on the second and 4^th Monday each month.

Deshler Council is alerting residents that a meeting is scheduled for discussion about cutting the hours for the village post office.  That meeting will be held Tuesday, January 29^th at the municipal building at 1:30pm.

                        Following a resignation, there is an opening for a full-time position at the Deshler water plant.  Applications are available at the water plant, and at the village building.

And its looking like a former downtown business facility will be turned-over to the town of Deshler before the end of the month.  A residence on Maple Street is also involved in that transfer from the Morrow family.
