As Napoleon gears-up for construction of a new elementary facility near the high school; along with the addition of a junior high wing at the site, the board is nailing down more contracts for studies. The first study will be on the traffic patterns school officials are likely to see, with drop-off of students, and those that drive. Engineers from Mannik and Smith will be collecting data from the entry points to the high school building, along with information from the current elementary sites. Another study will determine the conductivity of the soil for a potential geothermal heating installation at the new elementary site. And the Napoleon school board passed a resolution to hire Shook Touchstone, LLC of Lima as the Construction Manager at Risk for the new building project.
