The Ohio Department of Aging has released the results of its 2012 Nursing Home family satisfaction survey.  Over 720 nursing homes around the Buckeye State were surveyed; and the average score in the family survey was about 85.5%.          25 facilities scored at over 93.7%; and one of those was in Northwest Ohio.  Putnam Acres Care Center of Ottawa hit that score.

                        Five other nursing care facilities in the area topped 90% in their satisfaction survey with families.   Scoring at over 91% on the survey were Van Crest Health Care Center of Holgate, and Fairlawn Haven of Archbold.  The Meadows of Leipsic and Hilty Memorial Home of Pandora topped 92% in the survey.   And Swanton Health Care Center surpassed the 90% rating.
