After meeting in executive session; the Henry County South Joint Ambulance District Board has voted to proceed with plans for a stand-alone EMS facility.   The district is currently leasing or renting a building in the village of Hamler for their operations.              That executive session dealt with the possible purchase of land, and legal action.

There was discussion about re-banding and re-programming the south joint ambulance district radios.   Henry County Emergency Management is providing funding through a grant for this process.

And the South Joint Ambulance district reported travelling 24,217 miles in rescue runs for the year 2012.
