Governor John Kasich has announced the state of Ohio is providing financial assistance for 11 projects that will create 410 new jobs.   One of those projects is located in Putnam County; where Kalida Manufacturing is adding 67 full-time positions, that will generate 1.7 million dollars in additional payroll.  Kalida Manufacturing is a Tier-2 stamping and welding plant that produces auto frame subcomponents for Honda vehicles with 360 current employees.  The tax credit authority of Ohio approved a 40%, six year Job Creation tax credit for this project.

The Pro-Tech Coating Company of Leipsic is winding-down their 15-month expansion project, with an investment of 400 million dollars.  The company is adding a new type of steel production line; and they have been adding 90 new employees to ramp-up for the new production.

And the BK Tool Company of Kalida is adding about a dozen employees to their staff of 50 for a new expansion project.
