The Henry County Commissioners have approved placing a levy on the May ballot for Hope Services. This tax issue would be a 2-mill replacement levy designed to generate about 1.2 million dollars annually, over a period of five years. The current levy for Hope Services provides about $802,000 each year. This replacement levy revenue would help Hope Services pay for operating and maintaining residential and adult service facilities; along with providing support services for infants, children, and adults with developmental disabilities.
