A Monday snowstorm sent vehicles out of control on many northwest Ohio highways yesterday.  The Henry County Sheriff’s office investigated 8 accidents on Monday, including several with injuries.  At 11:31am yesterday, 45 year old Dennis Knapp of Liberty Center slid off road U, rolling his vehicle into a ditch full of water.  A passenger in the vehicle, 21 year old Johnny Warren of Liberty Center was injured; and transported to the Henry County Hospital by Liberty Rescue.

                        At 3:41pm, 62 year old Diana Ruskey of Deshler was southbound on road 7 in Monroe Township, and slid into a ditch, with the vehicle landing on its top.  Ruskey was transported to the Henry County Hospital by the South Joint Ambulance District.   The driver was cited for OVI, Failure to Control, No Seat Belt, and an Open Container.

                                    The sheriff’s office was dispatched to road 19 in Ridgeville Township at 3:26pm, where a vehicle spun out into the ditch.  59 year old Elvira Arredondo of Wauseon sustained injuries; and was transported to the Fulton County Health Center by Ridgeville Rescue.
