The first of two public hearings concerning the community development block grant program, which funds infrastructure projects in Henry County, was hosted by commissioners today (Tues.) Nicki Warncke from Maumee Valley Planning Agency outlined the requirements for projects, with attendees from the villages of Hamler, Deshler, and Mcclure. Project applications are due by April 19th to Maumee Valley Planning, with the second hearing to be set-up in May, when Henry County Commissioners make their recommendations for funding.
The
Henry County Commissioners went into executive session to discuss personnel; but no action was taken.
And the county sheriff approached commissioners about purchasing two new vehicles for patrol, while three others would be sold on the website govdeals.com
There was also discussion about the new handicapped ramp project for the Henry County Sheriff’s office.
