Members of the United Food and Commercial Workers union local 75 at the Campbell Soup Company plant in Napoleon have ratified a new three-year contract. The voting for that new agreement took place over the weekend in Napoleon. The 3-year contract includes a lump-sum bonus, along with wage increases of 6.75% over the life of the agreement. It also features expanded options for health care coverage, and improvements in the 401-K retirement program. The UFCW website also states that members will receive benefits from increased accident and sick pay, new language for lateral job bids, along with guaranteed bereavement time, and a walking steward in the Napoleon plant. This new contract will impact about 1,300 union employees for the Campbell Soup Company in Napoleon.
