With the Napoleon city council slated to discuss the future of the municipal golf course; dozens of concerned citizens attended the session Monday night, packing city hall.   The concern was the potential loss of a recreation site that is used most often by youth and senior citizens.   The golf course has offered year-round exercise and entertainment too; as families enjoy sledding during the winter months.

Former high school golf coach Gregg Merrill talked about the youth program at the golf course, that offers instruction for boys and girls.  More dialogue is expected when Napoleon Council gathers with the city recreation and parks board on March 15th.
