The Henry County Commissioners have given their approval to a revolving loan that will help create some new jobs.   AP Alternatives, LLC of Ridgeville Corners was seeking $300,000 to help pay for the purchase of new machinery and equipment for their solar racking operation.   This expansion in production will create 12 new full-time positions.

                        Commissioners reviewed some maintenance needs for Henry County facilities with Eric Weller, including the replacement of an awning at the Hahn Center due to snow and ice damage.   County crews are planning for the installation of a handicapped accessible ramp for the sheriff’s office.  And some heating concerns for the common pleas courtroom were discussed.

            Henry County Commissioners approved a payment of nearly $154,000 to Speer Brothers of Sandusky for work on the McClure waterline and booster station.

And the Henry County board went into executive session to discuss personnel; but no action was taken.
