Sentences were handed down Monday in Putnam County Common Court in the case against a former coach and technology coordinator in the Kalida Local Schools.   42 year old Jeremy Stober of rural Holgate was found guilty in a jury trial on felony counts of Sexual Battery, Importuning, and three counts of Gross Sexual Imposition.            At a hearing Monday, Judge Randall Basinger sentenced Stober to a total of 10 and a half years in prison for the five felony counts; and he was classified as a tier-3 sex offender, the most serious classification the state provides.

Then on Monday, the Putnam County Prosecutor’s office filed another count  in Municipal Court against Jeremy Stober, charging him with Bribery.   This charge alleges Stober promised compensation to an inmate that was going to be released soon, in order for that subject to influence or corrupt a juvenile witness that had previously testified in his case.   This is a third degree felony charge.
