A couple of overnight trips for school groups were approved by the Holgate School Board of Education, during their Monday night meeting.    The FFA will be attending the state convention in May, with two students receiving their state degrees.   And the Holgate high school choir was approved for an overnight trip to Columbus on May 15th.

            In personnel action; the Holgate board approved Ken Gineman as a seasonal groundskeeper.

Holgate superintendent Kelly Meyers announced the state report card results to the Holgate board, which included positive news . The Holgate board also approved an open enrollment policy that accepts students from any school in the state.              And a memorandum of understanding was approved with Owens Community College so Holgate students can take college courses.
