Hope Services will be helping with funding for a number of services in the public schools, after action by the MRDD board this week. Some of those services include occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech therapy. Although the final cost to Hope Services for this service will be calculated on a per child basis, it’s likely to be close to $190,000.
Hope Services will be sending staff members for training in the ‘Good Life’ program, which is designed for a lasting culture change in the organization for respect-based support, and ‘outside the box’ thinking. The cost for the training is $1,800 per person, with about 4 members attending for a 20-day period.
