With a special election in HenryCounty less than two weeks away, 128 residents have voted early in-person, or through absentee ballot. That opportunity is still available at the Henry County Board of Elections in Napoleon’s Oakwood Office Complex through May 3rd.
The board of elections will be offering extended hours next week on May 2nd and 3rd, with in-house voting till on those days. Residents can also request an absentee ballot for this special election in HenryCounty, now through May 4th.
The two issues on the ballot in this HenryCounty special election include a replacement levy for Hope Services, and an income tax for current expenses in the NapoleonAreaSchool District.
And the deadline for independent candidates to file petitions to run for Napoleon city council is May 6th.
