There will be a new face around St. Augustine Catholic Schools. Jim George has been hired as the new principal at the school; he is taking over for Nancy Schroeder. George received a bachelor’s degree in education from Ohio State University and his Masters degree from Bowling Green State University. He has worked 39 years as a teacher and administrator. George taught Junior High math at Sandusky Schools, and worked as an administrator at Cambridge, Deshler, Milton, and Holgate. George retired from Holgate schools in 2011, and he most recently worked as a mentor at Bowling Green State University for student teachers.
