Some personnel action and service contracts were part of the action for the Liberty Center school board of education docket this week. Liberty Center will be joining with Patrick Henry and Holgate for a nursing services contract this school year, at a cost of about $55,800 with the Henry County Hospital.
Liberty Center will also be renting a technology person for the district from NWOCA at a cost of $24,000 for the year.
The Liberty Center school board approved the hiring of Lauren Fairchild as a classroom teacher at the Youth Services facility; and added two full-time bus drivers for routes this fall: Brian Baker and Ken Pohlman.
The annual trip to Camp Willson for 6th graders was approved for next May.
And the Liberty Center board approved the pay for substitute teachers at $80 per day.
