They’re about halfway done with the water meter installation project in the village of Liberty Center. The town’s council reviewed that work during their Tuesday session; with another 110 meters still to be installed. That work has to be done by September 9th, since it was part of a block grant project.
The new Liberty Center water booster station at county road 11 is just about ready for operation, which is scheduled for Thursday.
And Liberty Center council discussed some new security measures; and options about providing a drop box for village payments. But no action was taken. The next fall festival meeting in Liberty Center is scheduled for September 3rd. That event to celebrate the village’s 150th birthday is coming up on Saturday, September 21st.
