A couple of injury accidents were investigated by HenryCounty law officers on Tuesday. The sheriff’s office investigated the first crash at on U.S. 6 in HarrisonTownship near state route 110. A pickup driven by 67 year old Kenneth Meyer of Seneca, Kansas was eastbound, and turned into the path of a semi driven by 39 year old Jason Campbell of Stryker. The collision caused injuries for both drivers, and a passenger, 65 year old Joyce Ann Meyer of Seneca, Kansas. All three victims were transported to the HenryCountyHospital by McClure Rescue. Malinta fire department also responded to the crash site. Kenneth Meyer was cited for Failing to Yield.
Then at yesterday, 49 year old Loretta Strayer of LibertyCenter lost control of her vehicle and struck some trees along road S in LibertyTownship. Strayer was injured and transported to the HenryCountyHospital by Liberty Rescue.
