In northwest Ohio, a number of school districts are seeking passage of renewal and additional levies.
The Napoleon Area School district will consider a 2.9 mill additional levy for current operating expenses.
Holgate Local Schools have two renewal levies on the ballot, one for emergency requirements, and the other for building improvements.
Northeastern Local School in Defiance County is seeking an additional 2-mill levy for current expenses. And the Ayersville Local School district will consider a renewal levy of 2.95 mills for permanent improvements.
In Putnam County, the Continental schools are seeking renewal of a 1.4 mill levy for permanent improvements. And the Leipsic school district will vote on a renewal levy of 5.52 mills to avoid an operating deficit. Election day is November 5th; but early voting is already underway at board of election locations all over the Buckeye State.
