The Ohio Development Services Agency has awarded 23 community grants to assist with infrastructure improvements, some in northwest Ohio. The city of Defiance will receive $300,000 in a downtown revitalization grant to rehabilitate 30 buildings, and improve alleyways. The project will benefit 15,782 residents.
The village of Whitehouse will receive a grant for $300,000 to rehabilitate 28 buildings in their downtown district, along with a park facility.
And Perrysburg is another recipient of $300,000 to make improvements on Jefferson street in that city.
